I've always loved working with people, and in clinical practice, I found real meaning in solving problems face-to-face with patients. But the biggest challenges in healthcare are at the systems level.

I started thinking about how the care clinicians deliver can be improved, hoping to work on solutions that would let me help more than just one patient at a time.

Nothing fuels me more than the creative process involved in systems-level problem-solving and working with a dedicated team on a shared vision.

Synapp is the current stop on this journey, a way to see if we can improve patient outcomes by giving clinicians better tools, and by thinking differently about how care can be extended beyond the consultation room.

With a background in school admin software, I have a firm belief that the less energy someone spends on admin, the more love and care they can pour into the people they are serving.

On Synapp, I run the backend — keeping the infrastructure and systems underneath quiet, stable, and out of the clinician's way.

I'm excited to continue supporting Pierre's vision for healthcare, to support and empower our clinicians to love and serve their patients better. And that they can thereby hopefully have some energy left for their own families!
